The Four Friends and the Lion

 In a dense jungle, there lived four friends - a deer, a turtle, a crow, and a mouse. They were inseparable and always looked out for each other. One day, while they were wandering through the jungle, they came across a fierce and hungry lion.

Terrified, the friends knew they had to act quickly to save themselves. The deer, being the fastest among them, suggested, "I will run as fast as I can to distract the lion. While he chases me, the rest of you can escape to safety."

The turtle said, "That's a noble idea, but the lion is much faster than you. He'll catch you before we can get away. Instead, I have a plan. I will hide in my shell, and when the lion approaches, I'll snap at him. He won't be able to hurt me, and you all can run away."

The crow added, "That's a smart plan, but it might not be enough to scare the lion away. I have an idea as well. I'll fly over the lion's head and make loud cawing noises. It might startle him, giving you all enough time to escape."

Lastly, the mouse said, "Those are excellent plans, but even with all that, the lion may not leave us alone. I may be small, but I have a plan too. I can gnaw at the lion's tail. It will hurt, and he'll be forced to let go of you, giving you a chance to run away."

The friends agreed to the mouse's plan and put it into action. The deer ran, the turtle hid, and the crow cawed loudly as the lion pursued the deer. In the commotion, the mouse crept up to the lion and gnawed at his tail. The lion roared in pain and turned around to swipe at the mouse. The mouse swiftly dodged the lion's attack and ran away to safety.

The lion, now furious and in pain, gave up his chase for the deer and the other animals. He couldn't catch the swift deer, and the crow's cawing annoyed him. With a hurting tail, he decided to give up and retreated into the jungle.

The four friends rejoined each other, relieved and thankful to be safe. They realized that each of them had unique strengths and ideas, and it was their cooperation and teamwork that helped them overcome the lion's threat.

From that day on, they remained even closer friends, valuing each other's differences and abilities. They knew that together, they could face any challenge that came their way, no matter how big or fearsome.

The moral of the story is that unity and cooperation are powerful tools. When people or creatures come together, combining their strengths and skills, they can overcome even the most challenging situations. This story teaches us the value of teamwork, showing that together, we can achieve much more than we could ever do alone.
